Kashmir Tulip Festival: A Celebration of Colors

Arrive at Srinagar Airport. Meet us on arrival and check in to your hotel.

Post lunch and some relaxation, we will hike to the Shankaracharya Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The temple is situated on a hill that makes a picturesque and a magnificent view of the vast Dal Lake, houseboats and surrounding areas from one side and the snow-clad mountains, habitation of the South Kashmir and dense forests from the other sides.

Rest of the day at leisure. Return to hotel for dinner.

Post breakfast, immerse yourself in the beauty of Kashmir's splendid gardens, nestled amidst freshwater lakes with mesmerizing views of fountains and mountains—a true gateway to paradise.

Begin with the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Asia's largest, spanning 30 hectares. Be captivated by a vibrant sea of tulips in shades of red, pink, yellow, purple, and orange, set against the pristine Dal Lake. This enchanting oasis is a visual feast and a photographer’s dream.

Next, explore Shalimar Bagh, a Mughal masterpiece offering panoramic views of Dal Lake and the nearby hills. Stroll through Nishat Bagh, “The Garden of Bliss,” with its stunning vistas of the snow-capped Pir Panjal range and the Zabarwan Mountains. Conclude with Chashma Shahi, the Royal Spring, known for its cascading terraces, aqueducts, and serene fountains.

As evening descends, enjoy a magical Shikara ride on Dal Lake, gliding through calm waters as the golden hues of sunset create a picture-perfect setting. Return to the hotel for a delightful dinner and restful evening.

After breakfast, we will proceed to Gulmarg - the meadows of flowers.

Upon reaching the parking area, walk to the Gondola entrance while enjoying the view of Gulmarg.

We will be doing the 1st phase of the Gondola ride (Gondola tickets are subject to availability) which will take you to the bowl-shaped Kongdori Valley at 10,000 (ft) above sea level. Enjoy the beautiful journey and the mesmerising view from the top.

Please Note: You may opt for a phase 2 ride (additional cost) and scale up to 14000 ft altitude. It is said to be one of the world’s highest gondola rides. Hike to the top and have a fun time in Snow (subject to availability). Please inform us at the time of booking.

Drive back to Srinagar.

Post breakfast, we will proceed for Pahalgam. En-route visit Martand Sun Temple, a 8th century temple built by King Lalitaditya Muktapida. This temple is dedicated to the Sun God, Surya and stands as a blend of Gandhara, Gupta, and Kashmiri architectural styles. Perched on a serene plateau, the temple offers breathtaking views of the Kashmir Valley.

Reach Pahalgam and check in to a gorgeous mountain view hotel overlooking river Lidder. Overnight stay at Pahalgam.

Wakeup to the sound of gushing river next to your stay and witness an astonishing range of snow clad and ever green mountains. Post breakfast we will proceed to Aru, the last scenic village of Lidder valley.

The valley is incredibly beautiful with picturesque vistas, majestic snow covered Himalayan peaks at the backdrop and the mountain river flowing through it. You will have a great opportunity to test your photography skills here. Another photo stop at Betaab valley, encircled by tall deodar trees and pine forests, with the Lidder River flowing right through it.

You may go for an afternoon horse ride to Baisaran valley, a hilltop green meadow dotted with dense pine forests and surrounded by snowcapped mountains.

Take some rest, you have free time to stroll at the Mall road of Pahalgam in the evening. Overnight stay at Pahalgam.

Post breakfast, we will check out from hotel and proceed to Srinagar. Upon reaching you will take a short boat ride and checkin to a beautiful wooden floating house - a House Boat.

Spend rest of your day relaxing on the houseboat and enjoying life around the lake. Witness the soothing sunset. Overnight stay at a Houseboat.

Wake up to the sound of water and the chirping of birds. Have breakfast and get ready to depart to your hometown with some new friends and memories for a lifetime.

• 6 Nights and 7 days accommodations on twin sharing basis. We provide single sharing accommodation for a supplementary cost. (Please note twin beds are subject to availability). In case interested, please let us know while making the booking itself. All the rooms would be of base category.
• Some hotels may provide higher category rooms and in that case we hold the right to allocate higher category rooms for additional charges or in the best feasible manner. 
• 1 night in Deluxe houseboat, 3 nights in 4* hotel in Srinagar and 2 nights in 4* hotel in Pahalgam.
