Rajasthan – The Golden Trail of Rajputana

Arrival at Jaipur, check in to the hotel. Post lunchtime, we will visit the Maharaja's City Palace (the royal residence of the erstwhile King of Jaipur) and The Amber Fort. Post attending Light and sound show at Amber fort, return to the hotel for dinner and have a good night sleep. Overnight Stay at Jaipur.

Post breakfast we will proceed to Pushkar. Check-in to the hotel and proceed for old city guided walk. A visit to a temple dedicated to Lord Brahma- Brahma Temple and experience the amazing sunset at Pushkar lake. Attend evening Aarti and return back to the hotel. Overnight Stay at Pushkar.

Early breakfast and checkout to head towards the Blue City. Refresh and unwind yourselves at the hotel and get ready to visit the refreshing Mandore Garden. Mandore Garden is a beautiful tourist spot near Jodhpur which is 9 kms far away from the main city. The lawn, Royal cenotaphs, Hall of Heroes, a Temple of 33 crore gods, Government Museum are the major attractions of Mandore Garden. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

Post Breakfast at Hotel, we will proceed for Mehrangarh Fort which includes Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Silah Khana, Daulat Khana and Rang Mahal. And then a visit to Jaswant Thada – A royal cenotaph built of white marble.

Proceed for lunch and visit Umaid Bhawan Palace – built by Maharaja Umaid Singh in the 20th Century. Free time for shopping in the evening. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

Breakfast at the hotel and we will head towards the Thar desert, passing through the Golden City of Jaisalmer. Check-in to your comfortable Swiss tents and just before the sunset, we will proceed for a Desert safari. Ride on a Camel’s back and experience the beauty of Thar Desert. Evening, we will have a Folk dance performance with Bonfire & Snacks. This will enhance your camping experience in the middle of a Desert. Enjoy it and have your dinner before a good night's sleep. Overnight stay at Sam Sand Dunes.

Today, set out for a city tour of Jaisalmer. Explore the magnificence of Nathmalji-Ki-Haveli, Patwaon ki Haveli and the Golden Fort (aka Sonar Qila) with three beautifully sculptured Jain temples built between the 12th and 13th Centuries and five interconnected palaces. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

In continuation to our journey through the beautiful state of Rajasthan, we will take an early breakfast at the hotel and move towards Bikaner. The 5-6 hours long journey will take us to this culturally rich city that is laden with picturesque vistas and sceneries. Bikaner is one of the earliest established cities in the state. It has beautiful sand dunes scattered around, primarily in the northeast and southern directions.

Visit the magnificent Junagarh fort that is built of red sandstone and marble. One of the most popular tourist attractions in Bikaner, it proudly holds the distinction of never having been captured!

Evening at leisure, visit the birthplace of favourite Indian snack…Bhujiya! Take a gastronomical tour of local market and try some of the best Rajasthani street food. Overnight stay at Bikaner.

Post breakfast we will proceed for Jaipur. We will make a quick photo-stop at Hawa Mahal and later checkin to our hotel. In the evening go for shopping in the Jaipur market and do not forget to eat the delicacies that Jaipur has to offer!  Overnight stay at Jaipur.

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out to proceed on your journey wayback home. You can book an evening flight back to get more time for sightseeing or shopping at Jaipur city. Good bye and hope to see you soon!
