Gwalior, an ancient city with a rich royal legacy was established in the 6^th century. The city has witnessed the reigns of rulers from the Tomars to the Scindias, leaving behind a treasure trove of historic architecture.

Arrive at Gwalior Airport/Railway Station by noon and proceed for checkin. 

In the evening, get ready for a mesmerizing evening at the Light and Sound Show at Gwalior Fort. The show vividly narrates the history of Gwalior in a way that transports you back in time, making it an unforgettable experience. Afterward, return to your hotel for a restful night.

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and get ready to explore more of Gwalior’s treasures.  First we’ll visit the imposing Gwalior Fort, one of the largest and most magnificent forts in India. This historic fort, perched on a hilltop, offers stunning views of the city and stands as a symbol of strength and grandeur, often called the "Gibraltar of India." We will explore the Man Mandir Palace, Jahangir Mahal, Shahjahan Mahal, Karn Mandir, Saas Bahu Temple, Vikram Mandir, Jauhar Kund, and the Chhatri of Bhim Singh Rana.

Next stop will be Tomb of Tansen, the resting place of one of India’s most revered classical musicians. This serene site offers not only a glimpse into the life of a musical genius but also a peaceful atmosphere for reflection.

Visit the Jai Vilas Palace, an opulent and awe-inspiring 19th-century palace. Home to the royal Scindia family, the palace showcases a unique blend of European architecture and Indian royal heritage. Explore its grand Durbar Hall, impressive chandeliers, and historical artifacts that speak to the richness of Gwalior’s royal past. Our final stop will be the serene Surya Mandir, dedicated to the Sun God, where intricate carvings and a radiant structure offer a peaceful atmosphere for reflection. Back to your hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening. Let the charm of this town set the tone for a calm and relaxed overnight stay.

After breakfast in Gwalior, you’ll embark on a scenic road journey towards the historic city of Jhansi, a city renowned for its valiant queen Rani Lakshmibai.

Upon reaching we shall visit the Jhansi Fort. Perched atop a hill, this 17th-century fortress has borne witness to numerous battles, especially during the First War of Indian Independence in 1857.

Later we’ll start our scenic drive to Orchha, a picturesque town known for its splendid palaces and temples, located on the banks of the Betwa River. Upon arrival check into your hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening. Let the charm of this town set the tone for a calm and relaxed overnight stay.

Today you’ll dive into the rich history and timeless beauty of Orchha, a charming riverside town that was once the seat of the powerful Bundela kings. 

We will visit the Royal Chhatris at Bank of Betwa River. Later visit the Ram Raja Temple. In India this is the only temple where Lord Ram is worshiped as a king and that too in a palace.  We will continue our visit the Chaturbhuj Temple, which means four-armed. This temple worships Lord Vishnu in his Chaturbhuj form. We will visit the Laxminarayan Temple, an architectural marvel that uniquely blends the features of a fort with a traditional temple design. Inside, you'll find stunning paintings from the 17th and 19th centuries, showcasing remarkable artistry and historical richness.

After soaking in the historic charm and tranquil beauty of Orchha embark on a scenic drive to Khajuraho, known for its world-renowned temples, which are celebrated for their exquisite art and intricate carvings. Arrive by evening and take some time to unwind. Later, experience the captivating Light and Sound Show at the Western Group of Temples, which brings to life the history and legacy of the great Chandela kings, narrating the story of these extraordinary temples from the 10th century to the present day.

After breakfast, get ready to explore the world-famous Khajuraho Temple Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its intricate carvings and stunning architecture. These temples, built between the 9th and 11th centuries by the Chandela dynasty, are famous for their sculptures that depict a balance between spirituality and sensuality, an embodiment of Indian artistic traditions.

The complex is divided into three main groups – the Western, Eastern, and Southern groups of temples. The most celebrated temples are located in the western group which are known for their grand scale and intricate detailing. Every inch of the temple walls is filled with intricate carvings that tell a fascinating story of history, blending both Jain and Hindu traditions. The detailed reliefs capture the essence of these rich cultural legacies.

Return to your hotel in Khajuraho for a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey to Jabalpur, a city known for its unique natural beauty and historical significance. The scenic drive will take you through some beautiful landscapes, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the journey.

Our first stop is the famous Dhuandhar Waterfall, where the Narmada River cascades down in a powerful misty plunge, creating an awe-inspiring sight. You can hear the roar of the water and feel the mist in the air as you take in this beautiful natural wonder. We will also take a boat ride through ‘Bandar Kodini’, where the marble rocks appear so close that monkeys can jump across, lending the site its name. This boat ride is a serene experience, allowing you to witness the stunning marble formations that change color with the sunlight.

After a fulfilling day, return to your hotel in Jabalpur for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.
