Golden Years & Holy shores - Senior Citizens Day in Rishikesh

Early morning, we begin our soulful escape from Delhi, journeying through scenic highways toward the tranquil town of Rishikesh. En route, we pause for breakfast at a local restaurant to refresh and refuel. As the hills draw closer, the air turns cooler and calmer—welcoming us with the promise of peace.

Upon arrival, we check in at a beautiful riverside resort, surrounded by greenery and serenity. A wholesome lunch awaits in the resort’s dining area. After lunch, relax at leisure — unwind in your room, take a walk by the river, or simply soak in the soothing sounds of the flowing Ganga.

As the sun begins to set, we’ll head to the peaceful Triveni Ghat to witness the beautiful Ganga It’s a peaceful and heart-touching experience, where priests offer prayers with glowing diyas, chants fill the air, and the river shines with divine light. If time permits, we may also pause at the iconic Laxman Jhula, letting the river breeze and legends wrap around us like an evening prayer.

After dinner, rest up and get ready for the next day. 

Begin your morning with a calming yoga session in the fresh Himalayan breeze, followed by a nourishing breakfast.

After breakfast, we set out to visit the sacred Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, a spiritual gem surrounded by forested hills. This ancient Shiva temple marks the mythical site where Lord Shiva is said to have consumed poison during the churning of the cosmic ocean. The serene drive and spiritual ambiance make this visit truly memorable.

We return to the resort for a delicious lunch, followed by time for rest and relaxation.

As the sun softens, the resort comes alive with vibrant energy! The evening is dedicated to celebrating the spirit of our elders with a heartfelt and joyful Senior Citizens Day Celebration — a tribute to their wisdom, laughter, and the bonds we share.

Expect fun, music, smiles, and warm moments that create lasting memories with your Phurr Parivaar.

We conclude this meaningful day with a comforting dinner and content hearts.

Start the morning with a refreshing yoga session by the Ganga, followed by breakfast at the resort. After check-out, we begin our return journey to Delhi, stopping along the way for lunch. By evening, we arrive in Delhi — carrying back peaceful memories and new bonds. 

• 2 Nights and 3 days accomodation at 4 star riverside resort in Rishikesh on twin sharing basis (subject to availability). We provide single sharing accommodation for a supplementary cost. In case interested, please let us know while making the booking itself. All rooms are base category
• Breakfast(2), Lunch(2) and Dinner(2). Set menu or buffet for all meals. Breakfast and Dinner would be provided in hotel/Resort and Lunch in local restaurants. Only Veg meals would be served in Lunch.
• AC coach / Tempo Traveller for transfer from Delhi to Rishikesh. Seats on rotational basis.
• Group pickup and Drop from Delhi.
• 1 litre bottle of water every day.
• Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat on the first day.
