Arrive at Chandigarh Airport by noon and proceed for check-in. Designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect Le Corbusier, is known as one of the best experiments in urban planning and modern architecture of our country in the twentieth century. Post breakfast, we will proceed to Kufri which is a 5 hrs (125 km) drive from Chandigarh. Nestled in the lap of the majestic Himalayas with thick forests of pines and deodars along the road elevate the beauty of the place. The nature lover inside you will wake up when you will see the view of the stunning snow-capped mountains on all three sides of this small hill station. Reach Kufri by afternoon, in the evening catch the lovely sunset and get acquainted with your new friends. Overnight stay at Kufri hotel.

Post breakfast we will start our journey from Kufri to Sarahan via Narkanda. Narkanda is situated at an altitude of 2708 meters on the Hindustan Tibet road and it is also know as “The Gateway to Kinnaur”.
From here if the weather is clear, you get the first glimpse of the magnificence lying ahead. From the green valleys in the foreground to the striking expanse of snow covered Himalayan wall on the horizon, the breathtaking spectacle is the first indication of the splendour up ahead. It commands a unique view of the eternal snow line, the inviting apple orchards and dense forests. Late in the afternoon we will reach Sarahan, settled at an elevation of 2165 m and is graced with the presence of Shrikhand Mahadev peak. Besides, Sarahan is famous for the Bhimakali Temple. The temple revers the name of Goddess Bhimakali, the presiding deity of Bushahr dynasty. Pay homage at Bhimakali.

Post breakfast we will start our journey from Sarahan to Sangla. One of the most beautiful and romantic valleys in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh is the Sangla Valley, which is surrounded by thick forest slopes and offers lovely views of the high mountains surrounding it.
In the evening, go on a small hike to the mesmerizing Baspa river. The scintillating Baspa River in Sangla Valley is one of the most scenic rivers of the Himalayas. The crystal clear water of the river flows gently, making a soothing sound as it passes over the rocks. The surrounding landscape is simply breathtaking, with snow-capped mountains towering over the river, and lush greenery all around.
Take a deep breath of the fresh mountain air and feel a sense of peace and serenity wash over you before returning back. Evening at leisure! Overnight stay in Sangla.

Post breakfast, proceed to visit the last inhabited place in India before the Indo-Tibetan border, named Chitkul. It is about 28 km away from Sangla Valley, at an altitude of 3450 Mtrs, and on the banks of the Baspa river. The magical beauty which this village offers is unmatched and incomparable.
We will visit the Indo-Tibetan border. Make a quick pit stop at Hindustan's last dhaba before the border and grab a bite, it will be a great experience to share! Relax near the Baspa River, the views around the banks of the river are to die for. Have a little ‘you-time’ sitting by the side of the beautiful river and contemplating life.
While coming back, go for a walk in the Batseri village. Dinner and stay in Sangala.

Have an early breakfast and get ready to start your journey to Kalpa via Reckong Peo. Kalpa is one of the most scenic places in all of Himachal and is definitely worth visiting.
Reckong Peo is located at a height of 2,290 meters. You will know that you have reached Reckong Peo when you start getting the fresh scent of pine trees, apple orchards, stately deodars.
Later we will proceed to visit Kothi Mata Temple. This temple in Kothi village of Kalpa is dedicated to Chandika Devi who is the oldest daughter of Banasura. The temple has beautiful architecture with significant use of wood and stones. We will also visit the very beautiful Hu-Ba-Lan-Kar Monastery, which is a perfect place for history buffs! Near the monastery you will get glimpse of Kinnaur culture and its colorful villagers. At some distance, you will find Narayan Nagini Temple, a perfect example of Kinnauri craftsmanship. This temple is constructed in traditional Tibetan Pagoda style of architecture. Also the amazing view of Himalayas from the temple ground is the added attraction.
After check-in, go to for a leisurely walk or explore the area on your own. We promise you won’t get enough of the place. Dinner and stay at a hotel in Kalpa.

Go for a short walk in the village! Soak in the view of the beautiful mountains and the river. Come back have breakfast and get ready to proceed to Narkanda, make a quick stop at the Karcham Dam - this 98m tall dam is India’s largest hydropower plant! and the viewpoint near the Roghi village has a spectacular view of the snow-clad mountains. On the way enjoy the breathtaking views of the apple orchards, greenery, and the Sutlej river, all making up the perfect scenery that you will not be able to forget in the days to come. - 8 Nights and 9 days accommodations at 3.5 / 3 star category hotels/Camp on twin sharing basis. We provide single sharing accommodation for a supplementary cost. In case interested, please let us know while making the booking itself. All rooms are base category. Kinnaur has a very limited number of hotels with very basic amenities. Some of the hotels has a very limited number of rooms and we might have to book different category rooms for our guests. The allocation of rooms would be done in the best possible manner by our tour leader.
- Toyota Innova for all transfers. 4 guests for each vehicle. A/C won't run in hills. Seats on a rotational basis.
- Group pickup from Airport only in case the flight is booked as per our suggested time.
- Breakfast(8), Lunch(7) and Dinner(8). Set menu or buffet for all meals. Breakfast and Dinner would be provided in hotel/Resort and Lunch in local restaurants.
- 1 liter bottle of water every day.
- Please note non-veg meal is subject to availability.

- Pay Rs.10,000 as 'tour booking fee' by online NEFT/IMPS transfer or cheque in favour of our bank account.

- If you want us to make train/flight booking, approx. amount of same to be paid at time of booking. Remaining to be adjusted with balance payment. Please call us for further details.
Important Facts for Travellers:
- High mountain passes in the itinerary will require crossing above 10000 ft altitude and have a little chances of AMS (Acute mountain sickness). We do not carry oxygen cylinders for this tour.
- Who should avoid this tour or should consult doctor before opting for this tour? Patients with heart conditions like severe heart failure, recovering from heart attack, a recent stent procedure, uncontrolled very high blood pressure, Asthma, Bronchitis.
- The best hotels may also have the most basic amenities.
- Some of the hotels might not have elevators/lifts.
- The hotels do not have electricity backup or little backup.
- In case of power failure one has to adjust with candle lights
- Some hotels might provide buckets of Hot & Cold water on fixed basis.
- Meals are mostly fresh home style cooked food.
- In case of extreme cold, room heaters or hot water bags can be taken from the hotel on direct payment basis.
COVID related precautions and requirements:
- All tourists require to follow COVID 19 related guidelines/rules.
- Arogya Setu app to be downloaded and installed.
- E-pass to enter the state would be arranged by us. Covid test report to be shared with us 24 hrs before departure (In case applicable).

FAQs:
I am at X place, will I go alone from here? We don’t plan travel from a specific region as we have a clientele from all over India. Though we can still suggest you the best possible way for arrival and departure (both Flights and Train). Most of our travellers will travel in the same train or flight which has been suggested by us. So, you do not need to worry, as chances are that you won’t be travelling alone. We try to patch you up with a co-traveller from the same location.
I am a single woman, is it safe for me? We have a good percentage of single women joining each tour and we put in extra effort to ensure your safety by ensuring someone is always there to help you out. Talk to us and you will be more confident in joining us. Just call us now!
How can I book train or Flight to reach and depart from the specified cities? You are most welcome to contact us for arranging Train/Air travel arrangement from your hometown. We will charge INR 300 extra service charges for it. Total cost of arrangement has to be provided at the time of booking. In case required, please specify at the time of booking itself. Or, take suggestion from us and book from a nearby dealer or yourself.
However, Air/Train tickets are subject to availability and we request you to book as soon as possible to ensure your seats and to get cheapest Air fare.

As soon as my mother boarded the train he was in touch with her. Even so he figured out that the train was running late much before even I did. He was there on the station waiting for her and I knew that I can worry less with such a great start.
