In the evening, enjoy a calm Shikara ride on the iconic Dal Lake, floating past lotus gardens, traditional houseboats, and the charming lifestyle of the lake’s residents. It’s the perfect way to soak in the soul of Kashmir and unwind after your journey.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Gulmarg, known as the “Meadow of Flowers,” where nature unveils her finest palette.

Upon reaching the parking area, walk to the Gondola entrance while enjoying the view of Gulmarg. We will be doing the 1st phase of the Gondola ride (subject to availability) which will take you to the bowl-shaped Kongdori Valleyat 10,000 (ft) above sea level. Enjoy the beautiful journey and the mesmerising view from the top.

Later, descend into the lesser-known paradise of Doodhpathri, meaning "Valley of Milk”. With rolling green meadows, whispering pine forests, and a river that runs white like milk over smooth stones, this alpine retreat feels like something out of a fairytale. Doodhpathri offers some of the clearest night skies in Kashmir, far from city lights. Enjoy a peaceful stargazing session, where you might catch shooting stars or even the Milky Way on a clear night. It’s the perfect end to a day full of scenic wonders.

Please Note:

Gandola bookings open up 45days before the day you are visiting and gets sold out in split seconds. It is better to book your trip as soon as possible to get a better chance of getting the gondola ride. 

You may opt for the Phase 2 Gondola ride (at additional cost) to reach an altitude of 14,000 ft — one of the world’s highest. Enjoy panoramic views, snow (subject to availability), and a short hike at the top. Kindly inform us at the time of booking.

Overnight stay amid nature in Doodhpathri.

After breakfast in Doodhpathri, embark on a scenic journey to Pahalgam, a charming town nestled in the Lidder Valley. En route, pass by the saffron fields of Pampore, stop at the historic Martand sun temple and ruins, and enjoy a quick break at the lush Apple Valley.

By evening arrive in Pahalgam, check in to your hotel and relax with the soothing sights and sounds of the valley.

Wake up to the melody of birds and gurgling streams. Today, we explore the storybook beauty of Aru Valley and Betaab Valley, wrapped in snow-clad peaks and evergreens.

In the evening, walk to the lidder river to soak in the serenity of the surroundings and enjoy the gushing cold water wash over your feet. 

Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Bid farewell to Pahalgam and wind your way back to Srinagar.

Stop at the iconic Shankaracharya Temple, perched atop a hill with panoramic views of the city and Dal Lake. Later in the day, visit Nishat Bagh (if time permits), the "Garden of Bliss," which offers sweeping views of Dal Lake and the surrounding Zabarwan hills.

Later, explore Srinagar’s vibrant local markets – from aromatic spices and saffron to handcrafted Pashminas, rugs, and Kashmiri artwork. Optional visit to any gardens or relaxing lakefront cafés.
